Richard founded Henman Communications in 2003, specialising in PR, social media and sponsorship activation for brands and rights holders in the sports and entertainment sectors. Richard’s career to date has see him build an impressive track record managing and delivering integrated PR and sponsorship activation campaigns for UK, pan-European and global brands across B2C and B2B audiences. Sector expertise includes: sport, lifestyle, health & fitness, leisure, entertainment, charity, automotive and corporate, with particular experince in the corporate and social responsibility area.
Phil Mepham – Account Director
Phil Mepham – Account Director
Phil Mepham has vast experience of the communications world as a PR professional and as a journalist and broadcaster. He was Head of Media for England’s recent FIFA World Cup bid, working with senior representatives from the Football Association and FIFA throughout the project and prior to his appointment to England 2018, was Head of Media and Communications at Premiership football club Aston Villa.

Stuart Irvine – Operations Director
Stuart Irvine has been involved in live events for over 16 years. He has experience in many sectors including: sport, technology, government, education, consumer brands, financial, mobile media and the automotive sector. His event experience covers all forms of corporate communication: experiential, road shows, internal and external conferences, exhibitions design, digital and mobile and creative brand experiences. In 1994 Stuart managed BMW’s British Touring Car Championship hospitality programme and pit box management. After two seasons he joined Procar International and was responsible for Marlboro’s (Philip Morris) promotional activity “Grand Prix Action” with the Ferrari Formula 1 team following the F1 season across the world.

Simon Prickett has been in the production industry for over twenty-two years and brings with him a wealth of talent and experience from working on a mixture of events and projects in for clients right across the business spectrum. Simon is also an accomplished musician, consequently a professional who understands performance from both sides of the stage, knows how to positively engage with even the most challenging audience. Simon has produced, project managed and directed a variety of events in his career from large scale, large budget business conferences, to awards ceremonies, road-shows, product launches through to exhibitions and small scale corporate parties.

Sophie is passionate about sports and has always been a keen athlete. Whilst competing at national level in athletics she studied Sport Science at the University of Bath followed by a year at Loughborough University, leading to an appointment as a P.E. teacher at a secondary school in London whilst completing her Level 3 Personal Training qualification. She has worked with for clothing brand Nike at events and in their Kings Road retail store as their running club specialist. Sophie joined Henman Communications to work on the David Lloyd Leisure account as a Social Media manager creating and distributing content for the BILT by Agassi and Reyes European press launch event. She is continuing to develop her social media skills, travels frequently to Kenya to work as a 'horse whisperer' on her sister’s farm and also works as a personal trainer.

Charlotte is a film and video-maker with over 15 years experience working in film, television, video production, and photography. She has worked for the BBC, ITV and ITN in the UK, Screen Runner Productions and One World Artists in France, China World Star in China and with Director Babak Payami at FABRICA, Benetton’s centre for creative research and design in Italy. In 2010 Charlotte founded Shoots & Leaves Films: a creative collective of award-winning, international filmmakers, videographers, producers, musicians, writers and illustrators. Charlotte now directs the collective, producing works of film, video, photography and music for broadcasters, commercial clients, festivals and exhibitions all over the world.

In his 20 odd years of creative agency experience, sport has played a big part in Carl’s career and he’s been lucky enough, not only to have worked with most of the world’s largest sports brands but with some of it’s biggest names too. From Nike, Umbro, adidas, Puma, Reebok to Thierry Henry, David Beckham, Alan Shearer, Roberto Carlos or Frank Lampard, Carl has also had the pleasure to have worked with Manchester United and Warwickshire CC. Whether you’re looking for an experiential event, retail entertainment or a socially driven campaign, Carl’s creative thinking is completely media neutral. He always put the big idea first and strongly believes that standout creative can come from anywhere and appear on anything.

Matt Alexander is a freelance photographer specialising in PR, corporate, events and sport. Matt graduated with a BA (Hons) in photography over 14 years ago and now works with major PR agencies in London, through the Press Association. His work is published in thenational press most weeks. Other notable clients include HotChillee and Human Race, covering sporting events such as the London to Paris, the Dragon Ride and Windsor Triathlon.

When Niels was a young teen he borrowed his dads camera and began filming his venturesome friends perform action stunts. When he then decided to play back the stunts in reverse he immediately fell spellbound of the moving image. Since he found his passion in documentary film because as he says “it invites us to share our moments of joy, the challenges that confronts us and the achievements which makes us”. Niels is from Denmark but left for the UK to take an MA in Documentary film. He has been working with all aspects of video production from concept to delivery for a wide range of organisations and clients such as BBC, ITV, Private Eye, Nordic Film, Nimbus Film, Fine & Mellow and many more. Niels Ladefoged is besides conducting a Phd Research Study in Media Communications at Goldsmiths University, London.

Having worked in sales and marketing for over 14 years, Jared has devoted himself to digital marketing for the last 10 years. His specialist skills are website analytics. He is fully qualified in Google Adwords and Google Analytics, social media, paid media and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation). Born in South Africa, Jarred was educated at King Edward VII School, Johannesburg before winning a scholarship to South Carolina’s Tennis Academy. After a period of playing professional tennis on the ATP Work Tour and tennis coaching at club level, he embarked on a sales career in Australia, increasing sales by 127% year on year. Among his hobbies he lists surfing, reading, rugby union and football. Previous clients include:  Avira antivirus, Jobs Go public, Ark skincare, PilatesTree, Fashion Retail Academy, Syon Lounge, Aerial Camera Systems.

Jem is a seasoned journalist and corporate communications expert, with a wealth of experience behind him. Formerly a senior journalist at Sky News, he has managed the reputation of a FTSE Top 10 and headed up the public relations of Britain’s biggest online bookmaker. More recently he has worked on projects with Andre Agassi, Arsenal Football Club, Adidas, Western Union Transfer and Head UK. Jem specialises in media relations and corporate reputation, while his writing has won multiple awards.
Jo Parsons – Digital Designer
Jo Parsons – Digital Designer
After graduating with a degree in graphic design, Jo headed the busy design studio at Snow+Rock sports before leaving to work in corporate events where she managed digital campaigns for clients including Motorola, Walkers and Dulux. She then moved into the web arena designing and developing web based projects from short term promotional websites to large ecommerce sites, to app interfaces. Recent work includes GE Healthcare, Fitbit, Profeet and Nike.
