OVERVIEW

The Campus is a premier multi-sports venue in Europe, catering to elite athletes, teams, and families. It has become a preferred training hub for Premiership football and rugby teams, Olympic and Paralympic squads, and performance athletes.

Part of Quinta do Lago’s renowned luxury golf and residential development, The Campus spans 2,000 acres in the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Established in 2017, it serves professionals training for the Olympics and grassroots sports enthusiasts alike.

Facilities include two artificial clay and four acrylic tennis courts built to ITF standards, a stadium-quality football and rugby pitch, and a dedicated training area.

OBJECTIVES

Our collaboration with The Campus focused on PR, influencer relations, and raising awareness for its sports academy, junior camps, and leisure activities. Key launches included:

  • Tennis coaching with Judy Murray

  • Padel tennis club nights and leagues

  • The Bike Shed & West Coast Raid cycling tours

  • Junior soccer camps with Rio Ferdinand

  • Running and triathlon training camps

  • Dance and yoga camps

STRATEGY & EXECUTION

In early 2018, we launched tennis and padel tennis programs while promoting cycling tours. We secured press trips targeting UK, Irish, and Portuguese sports and lifestyle media, engaging influencers and bloggers.

Our team created engaging video content for digital and social media, fostering brand awareness. We also formed partnerships with leading football, rugby, tennis, padel, cycling, and triathlon organizations, attracting elite clubs, governing bodies, and sports tour operators.

Our PR efforts included two press trips hosting UK and Irish media, influencers, and bloggers.

  • Trip 1: 58 media features, 63.9M online readership, 176K estimated coverage views, 11 backlinks, 39 domain authority.

  • Trip 2: 65 media features, 24.5M online readership, 147K coverage views, 253 social shares, 210 YouTube views, 39 domain authority.

The Campus is now firmly established as a premier European sports hub, attracting elite and grassroots athletes year-round.
